Our Story – The Founders of Art Epoxy Designs
Sergio and Rodrigo arrived in the United States 10 years ago, both uncertain of what the future held. Sergio found his way into construction, viewing it at first as just a way to earn a paycheck. Rodrigo, on the other hand, bounced between roles in sales and customer service, constantly learning, evolving, and never staying in one job for more than six months.
Their paths crossed again in September 2021. By then, Sergio had spent three years experimenting with epoxy resin, gaining hands-on experience and refining his craft. Rodrigo was a sales manager at one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country. After a 12-hour conversation, they decided to combine their skills—and in October 2021, Art Epoxy Designs was born.
Since then, they’ve completed over 600 projects, generated more than $3 million in revenue, and built a reputation as market leaders in South Florida’s epoxy flooring scene. In 2025 alone, they’re on track to complete over 200 jobs.
